Colombian designer Amelia Toro's stunning new S/S 2014 collection draws inspiration from architecture, interior design, nature and ballet from the seventies. Her beautifully sophisticated color palette goes from pale pink to minty green with some black or burgundy accents and some of the textures include cotton eyelet, silk, elaborate embroideries and beautiful tulles. Hope you enjoyed this preview!

The 60's were unquestionably the most popular decade during the autumn/winter 2014 shows. Here are some of the great reasons to adopt this cool fashion. '60s style is not only classic, but it's a trend that can work for any season: Mini skirts are forever chic, and retro shift dresses are ultra-flattering on almost any body type. Peter pan necklaces are cute and very feminine. Mismatched patterns have been a thing for a while now and we all know how utterly cool they look.

The fur look is back! Whether you are going for a casual outfit or a cool nigh out, fur is a great way to spice up any outfit. The good news is you can choose between real of fake fur and look equally chic. Don't forget to throw on something furry before walking out the door if you want to leave a lasting impression!

The message from every major fashion week is loud and clear: Amongst big trends like plaid, fur, emerald green and minimalism, flats are making a huge comeback. I reported earlier about kitten heels and comfortable shoes but I definitely wasn't expecting high fashion brands to go even lower! In any case I couldn't be more thrilled. Say hello to happy feet!

Pale pink seems to be one of the most important colors of the moment. Pastel toned socks, scarves, jewelry, shoes and skirts are some of the items commonly seen on the streets and runways these days, but today I want to highlight the true pink toned IT piece: A coat in the lightest tone of this color. Not only is this a feminine and lady like hue but it goes well from day to night and can be combined with almost every possible color. Find the perfect shape and give it your cool twist. You'll be sure to stand out from the bunch!

To be honest, I have never been a fan of low heels... The thing is, as I get older (and I'd like to think: wiser), my priorities have shifted a little. Don't get me wrong, I will always love to look taller, chicer and more sophisticated but I have to admit that now, comfort is an issue. Surprisingly, designers have been thinking about our well being lately. The new heels they have designed for us will take you from day to night without losing your chic. Some of the most influential ladies in fashion have already been sporting them around and I suggest you give them a try.
These are some of my favorite options for kicking off your towering heels this season in style. Keep in mind that stilettos are a secret weapon to be used whenever possible.
